Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Quality Engineer to provide on-site quality engineering support for the assessment, inspection, investigation and resolution of quarantined materials within the warehouse. The role will focus on identifying non-conformances, raising and managing NCRs, supporting defect resolution with suppliers and engineering teams, and driving timely disposition of materials to minimise delays to construction and commissioning activities.

  • Electrical equipment and switchboards
  • Pumps and rotating equipment
  • Valves and associated components
  • Mechanical assemblies and packaged systems
  • Safety-related and nuclear-classified equipment

Your profile:

  • Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Inspection experience within nuclear, power generation, construction, manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Strong experience of NCR management, defect investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to perform physical inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of supplier quality processes and defect resolution.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation, manufacturing records and quality dossiers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across warehouse, project, engineering and supplier organisations.
