We are seeking a skilled Python/Azure Data Engineer to build scalable cloud-based data pipelines and solutions. The role focuses on developing ETL workflows, optimizing data models, and integrating diverse data sources. You will ensure data quality, automation, and performance while collaborating closely with analytics and product teams.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Azure cloud services.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows across diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Develop and tune data models for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.
  • Implement automation, monitoring, and performance enhancements across data processes.
  • Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable cloud-based solutions.

Your Skills:

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure Storage.
  • Experience with ETL frameworks, data-processing pipelines, and big-data concepts.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and cloud security best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of performance tuning, data quality practices, and scalable cloud architecture.
