Your Role

As a Manager specialising in Finance Management with Shared Services (SS) experience at Capgemini Invent, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our clients' financial operations through the effective implementation and management of Oracle Finance solutions. Your deep understanding of shared services models and Oracle applications will enable you to drive efficiency, enhance service delivery, and support financial transformation initiatives. You will be at the forefront of transforming our clients' financial operations. You will leverage your expertise in Oracle ERP solutions to design and implement innovative financial architectures that drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes.

As an Oracle Finance/Functional manager, you will be responsible for solutioning and delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud solutions (HCM / ERP) tailored to the needs of our clients. This role combines deep Oracle expertise with strategic thinking and leadership, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with both client objectives and industry best practices.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering Oracle‑led transformation for our clients, taking on responsibilities such as:

  • Grow our Oracle business across Public and Private Sector clients.
  • Solution and design Oracle Cloud solutions that meet the complex needs of (public sector) clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Lead solution design workshops, translating business requirements into robust Oracle architectures across HCM / ERP.
  • Oversee delivery teams, ensuring the technical integrity, performance, and quality of Oracle implementations.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on Oracle roadmap planning, integration strategies, and transformation governance.
  • Support business development through solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, data migration, and system optimization.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Cloud capabilities and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Architecting Financial Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive Oracle ERP financial architectures that align with clients' business objectives, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implementing Oracle Financial Solutions: Lead the deployment of Oracle Financial modules (such as Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications, Oracle Fusion Financials, etc.) within shared services environments, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
  • Streamlining Financial Processes: Assess and redesign existing financial processes to leverage Oracle capabilities, focusing on automation, standardization, and improved reporting to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Driving Shared Services Strategy: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement a shared services strategy, identifying opportunities for centralization and optimization of finance functions to achieve cost savings and improved service quality.
  • Performance Management and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks using Oracle analytics tools, enabling clients to monitor financial performance and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Leading Transformation Initiatives: Drive end-to-end transformation projects, collaborating with clients to assess current processes, identify gaps, and develop actionable strategies to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Enhancing Business Processes: Utilize your expertise in BPS to analyze existing financial processes, recommend improvements, and implement best practices that optimize workflow and reduce operational risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand their financial challenges and objectives, providing expert guidance and fostering strong relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentoring and Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of finance architects and consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
