As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for translating client briefs into compelling visual concepts that balance emotional appeal with practical functionality. You will lead the conceptual design process, working closely with clients, project teams, and the Chief to ensure design intent is achieved and commercial success is maximised.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart or Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept Development: Create visual representations that meet client briefs and functional requirements.
  • Design Standards: Apply company modelling and documentation standards to meet project goals.
  • Commercial Success: Ensure design solutions retain emotional appeal while supporting project profitability.
  • Budgeting: Contribute to budgeting at the proposal and conceptual stages.
  • Creative Exploration: Lead brainstorming sessions to explore a wide range of design possibilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Recommend resourcing strategies and integrate specialist expertise.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality control measures to maintain design intent throughout development.
  • Design Culture: Promote creative thinking and stay current with design tools and practices.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and identify new opportunities.
  • Team Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and idea-driven team culture.
  • Reporting: Clearly communicate workload status to the Chief.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Candidate Profile
  • Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design or equivalent.
  • Specialist skills in creative illustration and conceptual design.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and teams.
  • Exceptional drawing and presentation skills.
