Your Role
Our Intelligent Process and Performance (IPP) consultants are at the forefront of digital process and operations transformation. You will have the opportunity to work across sectors, whilst having the scope to shape your career towards a specific capability set or sector as you develop within our organisation. You will be working alongside some of the industry’s leading process experts, with a wealth of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process design and transformation, Process Mining, and Intelligent Automation technologies. Delivering through a range of different methodologies such as Agile Scrum and SAFe.
Working within the Automation squad as a Managing Consultant, you will be expected to lead new/existing automation engagements, drive sales, expand accounts, develop new accounts, manage bookings, and project deliverables. Leaning both on technical acumen as well as wider strategy and transformation experience, you will act as a trusted advisor to the client(s). You will also be responsible for engaging Partners & Vendors through sales leads, commercial frameworks, and legal agreements.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development: Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution: Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development: Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your profile
You’ll thrive in this role if you lead with impact, build trusted client relationships, and turn intelligent automation into measurable outcomes. We’re looking for a Manager who blends consulting leadership, commercial growth, strategic thinking, and hands-on delivery.
Consulting Leadership & Influence:
- Previous Experience in Intelligent Automation consulting with a track record of leading hybrid teams (consulting + client) and delivering complex programmes.
- Confident with executive stakeholder management; an excellent storyteller who can influence senior decision-making.
- Mentors and grows teams, develops technical skillsets, builds capability roadmaps, and fosters a high-performance culture.
- Builds networks quickly, strong internal and external rapport-building and partner engagement.
- Lead and contribute to the full lifecycle of intelligent automation solutions from discovery through to delivery and optimisation.
Technical & Domain Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with Intelligent Automation technologies (e.g., RPA, AI/ML, NLP, IDP).
- Knowledge of on-premise and cloud architectures.
- Understanding of business analysis methods such as BPMN and DMN.
- Awareness of RTA legislation and automation within sustainability topics.
- Experience developing technical capabilities within teams.
- Design solutions across IDP, NLP, ML, RPA, workflow orchestration, and low-code platforms.
- Assess client automation maturity and shape strategic roadmaps.
- Create compelling G2M materials and C-Suite level packs, alongside detailed solution architecture.
Technical Tools & Platforms:
- Experience with any of the following: Azure Cognitive Services, Hyperscience, Appian, UiPath, Dynamics365, Pega, NICE, BluePrism, ABBYY, Kofax, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow, Power Platform, Celonis or Signavio.
- Azure or AWS Practitioner certifications.
- Python, Spacy, KNIME.
- Applied Lean Six Sigma or process optimisation techniques.
- Agile or waterfall delivery certifications.
- Background delivering within agile or scaled-agile environments.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or typical back-office finance processes.
- IoT exposure.
Security Check (SC) Clearance:
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
