It will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Core Acquiring projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, risk registers, and communication frameworks.
- Oversee dependencies between infrastructure provisioning, payment platform integration, and software development cycles.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct regular status updates, steering committee sessions, and manage escalation paths effectively.
Technical Coordination
- Lead infrastructure and platform deployment activities, ensuring seamless integration with acquiring systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on application rollouts, CI/CD pipelines, and platform enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards across all deliverables.
- Risk manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
- Embed business continuity and disaster recovery considerations into project planning.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Experience in project management within payments or acquiring systems.
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, infrastructure, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services is a plus.
