We are building the next generation of design at Capgemini. As a Content Designer in our Experience Design team, you will shape clear, inclusive, and user-centred content that makes complex services simple and accessible. You will work across digital products and services, bringing together language, research, and design to ensure people can understand and act with confidence.

We are looking for designers who are curious, collaborative, and ambitious about the future of design. People who can untangle complexity, advocate for users, and use evidence to influence how services are built. Above all, you are passionate about the role content and AI can play in creating fairer, more inclusive, and more sustainable services. This is more than a content design role — it is a chance to shape how language and content influence the future of digital services. You will take on meaningful challenges, evolve your craft, and join a community pushing the boundaries of design. The services we co-create with our clients are often transformational – the solution may not be obvious, and we are looking for individuals who can make sense where there is very little framework or direction.

Your role:

  • Identify and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across projects, influencing and collaborating with them on the content.
  • Create and iterate accurate user-centred content to a high standard that meets user needs.
  • Use analytics data, user feedback, and user research to identify the needs of users and map user journeys.
  • Make complex language and processes easy to understand.
  • Bring new ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Advocate for user-centred design, iterative and agile approaches.

Your skills and experience:

  • A growth mindset: curious, reflective, and always looking to improve how content design can shape the future of services.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practice.
  • Experience and demonstrable domain knowledge working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, using GDS design principles.
  • Evidence of developing clear, accessible content to meet user needs for digital services, including accessibility and assisted digital needs. Skilled at writing for different topics, audience groups, purposes, styles, and formats.
  • Adept at providing simple, clear content to communicate complex issues.
  • Ability to get to the heart of an issue quickly and clearly, demonstrating expert knowledge in an applied setting.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams to design and deliver user-centred services within a commercial environment.

Your security clearance:

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
