Excellent presentation and articulation skills. You’ll demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex problems or solutions. High levels of emotional intelligence. Evidence of engaging/managing public sector stakeholders. An understanding of public sector cultures and ways of working. A good understanding of the commercial aspects of consultancy, which may include evidence of scoping and pricing work packages, managing the commercial performance of projects or bidding for public sector contracts.

Candidates will be collaborative and be used to working in mixed capability teams to deliver excellent client outcomes. You’ll have a growth mindset and be able to evidence continuous development both to support your own professional development and provide the best advice to clients. Formal certifications are beneficial but not essential. Relevant certifications will include:

  • APM or other programme/project delivery certifications;
  • PROSCI or other change management certifications;
  • SCRUM or other Agile certifications;
  • Better Business Case accreditations;
  • LEAN or equivalent certifications.
