As a Consultant / Senior Consultant within our AI Factory team, you will help clients unlock measurable value from data and AI by translating business challenges into practical solutions that improve performance, accelerate growth, increase operational effectiveness and enable innovation with confidence, whilst contributing to the growth of our AI Factory practice.
YOUR ROLE
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving real business problems and turning emerging data and AI technologies into practical solutions. You will work alongside experienced consultants, client stakeholders and technical specialists to design and deliver solutions that augment human judgement, improve decision-making and transform business processes - from improving customer service outcomes and optimising supply chains, to enabling smarter marketing decisions.
You will help clients identify and deliver high-value opportunities where data and AI can solve real business problems and deliver measurable outcomes. Work with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and user needs, translating these into practical data and AI use cases, products and solutions. Support the prioritisation and delivery of AI use cases based on business value, feasibility and user needs, applying modern data and AI technologies to develop solutions such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation and advanced analytics. Help measure and demonstrate the impact of data and AI solutions through adoption, performance and business outcome metrics, supporting clients in moving from experimentation towards practical adoption.
You will help design solutions around the needs of users and the way organisations operate. Design and develop user-centric AI products, copilots, intelligent assistants and agentic workflows that meet user and business needs, working across cloud and data platforms including Azure, AWS and GCP. Understand how AI can be embedded into business processes, customer journeys and decision-making, working collaboratively with business, product, design and engineering teams to deliver practical solutions. Support deployment, adoption and change by translating complex technical concepts into clear recommendations and practical experiences for business users, while contributing to iterative and Agile delivery.
You will help build trusted data and technology foundations that enable AI solutions to be deployed safely and at scale. Develop and work with AI-ready data platforms, data products and analytical solutions, ensuring data is accessible, fit for purpose and ready to support AI use cases. Support data quality, governance and the application of Responsible AI, security, privacy and compliance principles throughout delivery. Contribute to scalable data and AI architectures and support the delivery of reliable, observable and maintainable solutions, taking ownership of defined deliverables and workstreams within multidisciplinary teams.

- Business Development: Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution: Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development: Training to support your career development and the skills demanded within the company, accreditations, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for individuals who combine analytical and technical capability, consulting skills and a passion for using data and AI to solve real business problems. We don't expect you to have every skill below. We value diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences, and are interested in people who demonstrate curiosity, a willingness to learn and the ability to apply technology to practical challenges.
Data & AI Transformation Experience: Experience in data, analytics, AI or digital transformation through consulting, technology, engineering, academia or industry. Ability to translate business challenges and user needs into practical data and AI solutions. Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery teams, with an understanding of product development principles including requirements, prioritisation, backlogs and iterative delivery. Interest in how Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation can transform business processes and decision-making.
Data, AI & Intelligent Systems Expertise: Experience or strong interest in one or more of the following: Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI applications; Agentic AI, AI agents, intelligent assistants and AI-enabled automation; Prompt engineering, AI evaluation and Responsible AI; AI orchestration frameworks e.g. LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Model Context Protocol (MCP); Data engineering, pipelines, modelling and governance; Advanced analytics, machine learning and statistical modelling; Data visualisation and insight solutions. Candidates should understand the importance of trusted, accessible and AI-ready data, and be curious about how AI can be embedded into business processes and decision-making.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Programming & Analytics - Python, SQL, R, Spark, machine learning and advanced analytics; Cloud & Data Platforms - Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS and GCP; AI Technologies - GenAI frameworks, Agentic AI, vector databases, semantic search, knowledge retrieval and LLM application development; Data & Visualisation - Power BI, Tableau, Looker and other business intelligence tools.
Consulting, Communication & Leadership: Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. Strong communication, problem-solving and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ownership of the quality and timely delivery of your work. Collaborative, inclusive and adaptable working style. Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and ways of working. For Senior Consultant candidates, ownership of larger workstreams, support for junior colleagues and contribution to client or business development are desirable.
