We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 5-7 years of industry expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams. You will analyse complex business processes, systems, and data, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and BPMN to manage documentation and process modelling effectively.

Hybrid working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse client's business problems and conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements.
  • Elicit business requirements and translate those into deliverables that can be used by the developers to build the solution.
  • Contribute to the functional and technical design, development, and testing of world-class solutions; work with functional, industry, and technical specialists on system implementations and integrations in complex environments.
  • Proficiently use JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
  • Employ Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) to analyse and optimize processes.
  • Facilitate user story writing sessions to capture requirements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRD, FRD, and FSD documents.
  • Utilize MS Visio or other diagram tools to create visual representations of business processes.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct data analysis and visualization to provide insights into business performance.
  • Apply the prioritization technique to prioritize project requirements and deliverables.

Job Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of work experience as Business Analyst.
  • MBA from a top B school.
  • Experience in Financial Services, particularly in Retail, Corporate lending, Payments, and related areas.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and managing sprint-based deliveries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and SQL.
