YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Architect who thrives on design and collaboration. This role is less about day-to-day administration and more about shaping the blueprint of our cloud landscape. You’ll be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in Microsoft Azure, creating high-quality documentation, and partnering closely with our DevSecOps team to ensure seamless delivery and governance.
YOUR PROFILE
- Lead the design of cloud architectures across Azure's core services, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and compliance.
- Translate complex business and security requirements into clear, actionable cloud designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation that guide engineers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to embed security, compliance, and automation into every stage of the solution lifecycle.
- Provide architectural oversight on cloud deployments, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and consistently.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and project teams, advocating for cloud best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft Azure core services: networking, compute, storage, identity, databases, monitoring, and security.
- Strong background with Azure application services: Logic Apps, Function Apps, and App Services, with an ability to integrate them into broader solution designs.
- Proven experience working with DevSecOps or platform engineering teams, especially around CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and security automation.
- Solid understanding of cloud governance frameworks (e.g., policies, RBAC, cost controls).
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure-native tools: ARM/Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and monitoring solutions.
- Excellent written communication skills; able to produce diagrams, decision trees, and design docs that teams can rely on.
- A mindset oriented towards collaboration, mentorship, and cross-functional influence.
