Learning Business Partner About the job you’re considering You will design and develop the learning and development strategy in partnership with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders. To be successful you will bring fresh thinking to our learning solutions to ensure they deliver a leading-edge experience and maximise learning impact for our people. Be a trusted advisor to the business and HR community on all L&D related matters. You will drive a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Being commercially comfortable you will manage the Learning and Development budget within broader framework of business KPIs, maximising the use of virtual and blended offerings provided by Capgemini University. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. Your Role As Learning Business Partner, you will report into the UK Head of learning and work with HR Leader and Business Leaders to evolve a learning strategy that supports the business priorities and delivers outstanding results. Supporting the talent agenda will form an important part of the role, developing plans for diverse talent to progress careers and support career growth and retention at every level within Capgemini. You will work closely with the HR team on People Transformation & Talent initiatives becoming a trusted expert who can co-create effective and agile learning solutions with the business, to deliver impact and drive best practice in Learning and Development. You will be an important part of the wider Capgemini Learning and Development Team with other local, regional, and global L&D professionals providing an opportunity to share regional and global best practice, and drive and contribute to our collective capability in Learning & Development. This network gives you additional scope to grow personally and professionally and to identify ways that we can benefit from innovation, scale, and re-use across the Capgemini business. You will be able to deal with ambiguity and show resilience in a fast paced and complex environment with the need to manage constant change. The role requires the ability to plan and deliver initiatives in line with targets and being comfortable with reporting and analytics to demonstrate impact and track progress. A high achievement drive, with a positive, can-do attitude showing enthusiasm for work and commitment to delivering excellence is imperative with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving. As with all Business Partnering roles, the need for strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, communicate, influence, and engage with different levels of people within the organisation will be required. You will need Strong Financial acumen and good data insight skills. As a trusted advisor and expert, you will need to manage key stakeholder relationships including: Ability to function as part of management and leadership teams and develop sustainable relationships at middle and top management level and use them to proactively help in the management of the business. Proactively gather insights on the stakeholder needs and helping them to identify how and whether learning can best support these needs. Capable of giving persuasive formal presentations to management and leadership teams. Ability to facilitate, document and drive actions from level Talent Boards and workshops. Project manage content for learning initiatives on People Transformation. Build a sustainable emerging talent strategy for the business, supporting the apprentice and graduate development offering to and quality experience for new joiners. Represents self and Capgemini in external professional bodies thereby enhancing our reputation. Develop and maintain an external network in own area. Your security clearance To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
