We’re looking for a skilled and collaborative Java – React Developer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in backend development, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
– Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and React.
– Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
– Write clean, efficient, and accessible code.
– Ensure front-end and back-end components integrate smoothly.
– Contribute to UI/UX improvements and performance optimization.

Your skills and experience
– Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot).
– Proficiency in React.js (including Redux or Context API).
– Solid understanding of RESTful API integration.
– Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
– Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
