About the job you’re considering We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Capacity Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Capacity and Performance Management practice, ensuring that IT services, infrastructure, and supporting resources deliver agreed levels of performance in a cost-effective and sustainable manner. You will establish and maintain capacity management processes, monitor service and resource utilisation, produce forecasts and trend analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure future capacity requirements are identified and planned effectively. You will play a key role in safeguarding service availability and performance, minimising the risk of capacity-related incidents, optimising investment in technology resources, and supporting the delivery of business and digital transformation initiatives. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. Your role Develop, maintain, and implement Capacity Management policies, processes, standards, and reporting across the IT estate. Analyse business, service, and component capacity requirements, ensuring sufficient resources are available to support current and anticipated demand. Track and manage any issues therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process. Make it real – what does it mean for you?
