Your Role

You will be joining our growing Industrial Data & AI squad of the Digital Engineering team within Invent, where we are at the forefront of designing and building winning strategies and operating models to transform the way in which organisations across all industries and sectors leverage data & AI. Using state-of-the-art data analysis tools driven by AI, we improve our clients' operations and help them deliver sustained profitability, efficiency, quality and behavioural change improvements. This is achieved through collaborating with colleagues from other parts of Capgemini such as Engineering, Frog, and Cambridge Consultants to develop comprehensive propositions for improving our client's business.

Our Senior Managers marry best-in-class delivery with thought leadership to become trusted advisors with clients' executives. You will be leading a range of teams of Industrial Data & AI consultants, strategy consultants and technical specialists from across Capgemini on the design and implementation of varied and complex data & AI strategy work to transform clients' data & AI capabilities. As an Industrial Data & AI Senior Manager, you will play a leadership role in setting organisations up for the fourth industrial revolution, helping them to effectively leverage data and AI to drive business outcomes:

  • Lead Industrial AI & data transformation: Drive end-to-end data and AI transformations across digital engineering functions, from strategy to implementation. Deliver scalable, high-impact solutions to optimise operational efficiency for clients at various stages of maturity.
  • Assess & optimise data maturity in engineering contexts: Evaluate clients' industrial data and AI maturity, identifying strengths, gaps, and reuse opportunities. Design tailored data strategies aligned with business goals, Industry 4.0, and innovation priorities.
  • Enable trusted AI & digital engineering leadership: Advise senior leaders on data-driven decision-making and foster a strong data culture. Combine technical and business change expertise to coach executives and embed AI capabilities across organisations.
  • Drive market growth & innovation in industrial AI: Identify growth opportunities and shape commercial strategies to meet evolving client needs. Lead the development of offerings, teams, and thought leadership to accelerate AI adoption in industrial ecosystems.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development: Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution: Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development: Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

We are looking for the following skills and qualities:

  • AI and Data product Strategy development and implementation: Lead AI/ML, Agentic AI and cloud strategy design, organisation design, change management, program setup, tool chain strategy and design to ensure alignment with business goals and successful value delivery. Run PoCs to validate value, while embedding best practices across security, AI, and big data.
  • Data value chain and tools: Lead across the full data lifecycle from acquisition to archival, identifying transformation and enrichment needs. Have a knowledge of tool across the value chain e.g. Python, SQL, and ML/AI frameworks.
  • Scale data & analytics delivery models: Tailor delivery methodologies like Data Product Dev, AI/ML Ops, and Analytics Ops to client needs. Ensure scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and platforms like Palantir, Cognite, Hexagon or C3 AI.
  • Experience to scale data capabilities: Guide clients on scaling AI and data platforms through cloud and automation. Deliver long-term value by anticipating bottlenecks and implementing scalable, efficient data operations.
  • Industry Engagement & Impact: Align data strategies with enterprise architecture and sector needs across industries like Automotive, FMCG, and Life Sciences. Lead AI-driven transformations while linking technical solutions to business KPIs.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Effectively engage C-suite and technical teams, translating complex AI concepts into clear business value. Lead RFP responses, strategic discussions, and align data solutions with client goals.
  • Commercial Mindset: Contribute to business development by shaping scalable service models and supporting deal closure. Communicate ROI and value cases to support strategic growth and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Organisational design experience: Advise on designing high-performing data teams, embedding effective structures, governance, and delivery models. Leverage expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, and scalable cloud architectures to align teams with modern practices.
