Your Role
As a Cyber Security Consultant you’ll act as a trusted authority, delivering secure solutions and providing a security consulting capability to our clients. You’ll also get involved in pre‑ and post‑sales security consulting activities across one or more of the following areas:
- Risk assessment and risk management
- Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Data management and storage (e.g., Data Loss Prevention, Rights Management)
- Audit event recording and analysis
- Cloud or network security, securing mobile data and devices
- Secure applications – architecture, software development, testing and varying forms of compliance
Your Skills and Experience
You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team with tangible experience in one or more of the following:
- Implementing secure solutions, experience of secure by design
- Designing and implementing zero‑trust solutions, experience designing Sentinel solutions
- Delivering consulting services or applying business development skills specifically in relation to security
- Balancing security risk against usability, agility and cost
- Designing secure solutions or devising business cases, roadmaps for security improvements or transformation
Your Security Clearance
To be appointed to this role, it is required to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. Applicants must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years and meet other criteria. Some posts are restricted to sole UK nationals for security reasons.
