An opportunity has arisen for an individual that is looking for an exciting strategic HR challenge. You will be a member of the Capgemini Core Services UK HR Business Partnering Community and will play an integral part in the strategic delivery of the people agenda. Partnering with the UK Invent business, the key purpose is developing a strong relationship with and becoming a trusted advisor to the leadership team. The HR Business Partner must understand the UK business strategy in order to align the people agenda and then deliver on it.
This role will contribute to the fulfilment of the overall Invent HR strategy and will be accountable for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the HR processes and other critical initiatives. The role is strategically focused delivering in the areas of reward, talent, capability development, performance management and employee engagement.
Your role
- Deliver the HR strategy and contribute to the people agenda through projects and initiatives.
- Build effective and long-lasting, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders including senior leadership, Centres of Excellence (recruitment, compensation, HR Services, etc).
- Deliver the Invent people priorities for the business areas you will be partnering with, focusing on attracting, developing and engaging talent.
- Lead and deliver projects across the UK HRBP Community.
- Drive overall process improvements, e.g. talent development, succession planning, recruitment, HR policies.
- Develop and grow the capabilities of our talent and skills needed for the future success of the business.
- Deliver strategic compensation, recognition and reward initiatives including pay and bonus.
- Drive employee engagement in your business areas.
- Champion D&I initiatives which will support us maintain the right inclusive and diverse environment for employees to be at their best.
- Support acquisitions and transfer of employees as appropriate.
- Take a leading role across the HR team and UK HRBP Community; role modeling behaviours, professional growth, and coaching HR Managers.
- Draw insight and drive strategy through data and analytics for your business areas.
- Demonstrate an innovative, proactive, solutioning approach, promoting best practice.

- Strong generalist HR experience operating at a strategic level.
- Extensive experience of building trusting relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, in a matrixed environment and adaptable to rapid change.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, is an inquisitive self-starter and leader.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills with structured and logical thinking.
- Articulate and diplomatic communicator who can engage with a wide network of stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Change Management experience, able to lead change while coaching others through it.
- Be able to prioritise effectively and successfully manage multiple projects whilst working to tight deadlines.
- An excellent team player with the ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues acting as part of one HR team.
- CIPD qualified.
