CIS UK is looking for a Senior Director to strengthen how we deliver and grow our business across the account portfolio within Projects & Consulting. This is a hybrid delivery-and-growth role: part of the remit is to raise delivery discipline across our projects, and part is to unlock further sales growth within existing accounts by working closely with delivery and account teams. The role is deliberately broad at this stage and will be shaped further with the successful candidate.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role:
- Delivery discipline: Bring a consistent standard of governance, risk management and commercial control across our portfolio of projects and managed services, so delivery quality and predictability improve across accounts.
- Growth through delivery: Work with account and delivery leads to identify and convert organic growth opportunities, using strong delivery performance as the platform for expanding our footprint and share of wallet.
- Frameworks and collateral: Build reusable frameworks, templates and collateral (for example delivery playbooks, governance packs, transition toolkits) that make good practice easy to adopt across the business.
- Standardisation: Drive a consistent approach across accounts to core practices such as account planning and the handover from sales into delivery, closing gaps that currently cause variable outcomes.
- Offer-led selling: Support the delivery community to sell from our defined offers, connecting delivery teams with the propositions and assets that make account growth conversations easier and more consistent.
What success looks like:
- A portfolio with fewer delivery escapes, clearer governance and more predictable commercial performance.
- Demonstrable organic growth in target accounts, attributable in part to delivery-led opportunities.
- A working set of frameworks and templates in active use across multiple accounts, not just published.
- A common, recognisable approach to account planning and sales-to-delivery transition across P&C.
- Increased use of standard offers within delivery-led sales conversations.
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini, striving for equity, diversity and inclusion is part of everyday life, and will be part of your working reality. We have built an inclusive and welcoming environment, for everyone.
Your skills and experience:
- Substantial senior delivery leadership experience, gained in a large IT services or consulting environment.
- A track record of contributing to commercial growth from within delivery, not just executing to scope.
- Experience designing and embedding frameworks, playbooks or standard operating models across multiple teams or accounts.
- Strong stakeholder skills, credible with account leadership, delivery teams and clients alike.
- Comfortable operating with a broad, evolving mandate and shaping the role as priorities become clearer.
