We are looking for a Databricks Engineer who can design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform to support analytics reporting and AIML initiatives.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark and Spark SQL
- Develop and manage data workflows, Delta Lake tables and data transformations
- Integrate data from multiple sources and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize performance of Databricks workloads
- Implement data quality, security and governance best practices
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
Your Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Python and SQL
- Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Databricks
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git and data integration tools (ADF, Kafka, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
