Your role:

Our clients in defence and aerospace are facing unprecedented change, facing into a world of uncertainty and increasing risk. Within Europe alone we are witnessing a significant rearmament phase, driven by geopolitical shifts and increasing investments across the defence landscape.

We are seeking talented consulting professionals to join our growing defence and aerospace team within Capgemini Invent. As a key member of our team you will work with colleagues and partners to build and deliver solutions for our clients that enable them to increase their defence outputs, drive efficiency and utilise the latest enabling digital technologies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both client and personal growth by engaging in activities including:

  • Developing new client solutions by working across Capgemini to bring together a unique combination of tech enabled, people centred and output centric solutions.
  • Building a unique outcome based commercial approach that enables Capgemini to deliver major programmes linked to the business outcomes achieved.
  • Working with colleagues across Capgemini to generate new business in a partner centric way, including building consortiums and partnering with other complimentary organisations to bid for major global defence programmes.
  • Operating as a delivery lead on major defence programmes, including building business cases, designing transformation programmes and rolling up your sleeves to see changes through to front-line implementation.
  • Developing both yourself, your team and your clients to continually improve and push the boundaries of what is possible.

Your profile:

We are seeking consultants with the following experiences:

  • Proven background in a management consulting environment where you have delivered major parts of complex transformation programmes for Aerospace and Defence major clients.
  • Proven background in supporting the creation of new business from business relationships.
  • AI curiosity and ideally experience in creation of AI augmented propositions.
  • Experience managing client relationships, fostering trust and building credibility across your domain of expertise.
  • Knowledge of defence programmes and experience solving complex problems across the enterprise, covering both the public and private sector players.
  • Experience of forming industry and defence relationships at a variety levels.
  • Passion for solving your clients most pressing challenges, achieving tangible outcomes through a mix of technical expertise and strong people skills.
  • Knowledge of constructing commercial models where incentives align across clients and their advisors to jointly deliver meaningful defence outcomes.
  • Importantly an ability to lead our people, demonstrating both the integrity and humility needed to engage a diverse group of talent, bringing out the best performance for our clients.
