We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as a Network Operations Analyst managing a variety of Private & Public sector clients within our vast portfolio. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) provides technical help at all levels for a multitude of technologies across complex landscapes, providing expertise to deliver a stable, secure, efficient and well managed infrastructure, over the full lifecycle of each solution. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role: As an integral part of a Network Operations Centre, you’ll have fantastic opportunities to develop both yourself and our collective capabilities performing a mixture of RUN and Project activities with other likeminded Network Analysts. As part of the team, you’ll be empowered to:
- Network performance monitoring – using application-level traffic monitoring and also low level packet capture to diagnose network issues.
- Network change implementation.
- Generate scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API etc.
- Undertake Project Tasks, liaising with both internal and external Project Managers.
- Continue to strengthen and bolster your existing capabilities through a mix of professional training, certifications, and experiences.
- Produce technical documentation and drawings.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Track record working with enterprise networks with valid networking technical certifications demonstrating proficiency.
- Experience managing network tools – Riverbed Appresponse & NETIM, Gigamon.
- Experienced with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect Remote Access).
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding routing issues (BGP, OSPF & EIGRP).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience generating scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API.
- Knowledge of Virtualisation Platforms (VMWare) and containerisation.
