YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced IT M&A Senior Manager to support the fast‑paced, forward‑thinking team. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end M&A support across all industry sectors, including due diligence, deal closure, post‑merger integration, and divestiture support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and enhance our IT M&A offer, building capability within the ITP team and supporting market units with winning proposals.
  • Drive complex technology assessments of infrastructure, applications, cyber‑security, cloud environments, and digital platforms to uncover risks, quantify debt, and identify integration challenges.
  • Lead and deliver post‑merger integration strategies, harmonising IT operating models, consolidating ERP and core systems, planning cloud migrations, and designing digital transformation roadmaps.
  • Manage tech carve‑out and separation planning, including TSAs, data migration strategies, and regulatory compliance while maintaining business continuity.
  • Provide leadership on emerging technologies (AI, advanced analytics, cyber‑security, cloud‑native architectures) and translate findings into commercial insights.
  • Advise clients on translating technical findings into actionable commercial insights, quantifying costs and risks, and supporting negotiation strategies.

ROLE AVAILABILITY & GROWTH

  • Business Development – lead/contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, and client pitches.
  • Internal Contribution – develop campaigns, write whitepapers, and support practice development.
  • Learning & Development – training and certifications to support career growth.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Demonstrated leadership of IT M&A engagements with positive outcomes and follow‑on work.
  • Specialist in IT due diligence, integration, separation, and technology assessments for high‑value transactions.
  • Deep technical and strategic expertise across enterprise IT architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cyber‑security frameworks, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and emerging technologies.
  • Experience managing teams and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to quantify and optimise deal value, including cost modelling, synergy identification, and risk mitigation.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Senior consulting experience or industry background with a consulting focus.
  • Success in a matrixed organisation, driving support and commitment from peers.
  • Proposition building and delivery experience.
  • Business development generating approximately ÂŁ1 m in consulting revenues.
