At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose. Join our AI Factory team and be part of the future of AI consulting.
We are redefining how organisations adopt and scale AI, moving beyond experimentation to embedding agentic systems, human-AI workflows and data products into every aspect of how they operate, compete, and create value. We are looking for experienced Data & AI leaders who combine AI technical expertise and commercial acumen to shape enterprise-wide transformation. You will lead client engagements from strategy through to execution that combine modern data platforms, semantic architectures and agentic AI solutions to deliver measurable business value, whilst contributing to the growth of our AI Factory practice.
YOUR ROLE
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, rather than simply implementing AI technology. You’ll be helping clients realise how they can augment human judgement, automate decisions and transform business processes across all functions - from improving customer service outcomes and optimising supply chains, to enabling smarter marketing decisions. You’ll be working at the forefront of shaping the future of enterprise AI.
You will help clients identify, prioritise and deliver high-value business opportunities where data and AI transform the way organisations operate and make decisions. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive and C-suite stakeholders to help them identify transformational AI use cases, and shape the strategy, investment decisions and roadmaps needed to realise them. Partnering with business leaders to measure and realise value from AI investments, establishing adoption strategies and performance metrics that deliver sustainable business outcomes. Guiding organisations from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment by establishing the capabilities, delivery approaches and change strategies needed to scale AI successfully.
We Make AI Usable.
You will lead the human-centred design of AI solutions around the needs of users and the way organisations operate. Translating business challenges into AI-enabled products, agentic workflows and intelligent services, defining clear user needs, business outcomes and success metrics. Designing human-centred AI operating models that seamlessly integrate people, AI agents and business processes to transform the way work gets done. Partnering with business, product and engineering leaders to embed AI into customer journeys, employee experiences and operational decision-making, driving adoption at enterprise scale.
We Make AI Reliable.
You will lead the development of trusted data foundations that make AI delivery faster, safer and easier to scale. Designing AI-ready data foundations, platforms and semantic layers that provide trusted business context, reusable knowledge assets and reliable access to enterprise information for AI and analytics. Shaping agentic architectures and engineering capabilities that enable AI agents to securely interact with enterprise systems, business processes and people at scale. Establishing the governance, security, responsible AI and operational practices required to monitor, manage and continuously improve AI solutions in production.
Role
As part of your role you will be expected to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development – Leading proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches and Thought leadership that positions the organisation at the forefront of modern Data & AI consulting.
- Internal contribution – Supporting practice development through offering development, recruitment, campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, operational excellence and capability building across Data, AI and Agentic AI.
- Learning & Development – Continuously developing your own expertise in emerging data and AI technologies and consulting leadership through training, certifications and applied innovation, while fostering a culture of continuous learning across the practice.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for leaders who combine strategic thinking, consulting expertise and deep understanding of data and AI to help organisations move beyond experimentation and realise the value of enterprise AI. You will be passionate about solving complex business problems, translating emerging technologies into practical solutions, and helping organisations embed AI into the way they operate and make decisions. We don't expect you to have every skill below - we value diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. What matters most is your ability to connect business challenges, human needs and technology to deliver meaningful outcomes.
The below skills and experience can be demonstrated in any industry or sector.
- AI Transformation Leadership Proven experience leading data, analytics and AI transformation initiatives, helping organisations identify high-value opportunities and move from experimentation to enterprise adoption. Ability to translate complex business challenges into AI-enabled products, agentic workflows or decision intelligence that improve decision-making and business performance. Experience establishing the capabilities and delivery approaches required to scale AI responsibly across an organisation.
- Data, AI & Intelligent Systems Expertise Strong understanding of modern AI capabilities, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent assistants and AI-enabled automation, and enterprise AI ecosystems such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and Microsoft. Experience shaping enterprise AI architectures, designing how AI agents interact with enterprise systems, data, business processes and human decision-makers, while guiding technology and platform decisions. Understanding of the foundations required to build trusted enterprise AI, including cloud data platforms, semantic layers, data products, AI evaluation, security, governance and responsible AI practices.
- Consulting & Client Leadership Significant experience in consulting or senior client-facing roles, acting as a trusted advisor to executive and C-suite stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex data and AI concepts clearly, creating alignment between business leaders, product teams and technical specialists. Strong strategic and commercial capability, including shaping propositions, developing opportunities and leading successful client engagements.
- Leadership & Practice Development Track record of building high-performing teams, coaching talent especially in the Agentic era, and creating inclusive, collaborative environments. Ability to lead through ambiguity, inspire innovation and build new capabilities in rapidly evolving technology landscapes. Contribution to practice growth through thought leadership, capability development, recruitment and market engagement.
