Your Role
As part of the Digital Engineering team, you will work on high‑profile projects with leading organisations, defining and delivering engineering transformation. You will help clients exploit digital technologies and innovative operating models to transform engineering functions, align hardware and software for future‑ready products, and redesign operating models to integrate engineering and design functions across the value chain. The work is diverse, giving you the opportunity to deliver client‑facing projects across multiple industries. Projects may span the full product lifecycle—from design and development through engineering operations, manufacturing, through‑life support and improvement.
You will apply your business and technical expertise to help clients build the case for change, identify opportunities for value creation, define transformation roadmaps, and deliver digital initiatives.
Key Contributions
- Business Development – Lead/reference proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches, and event hosting.
- Internal Contribution – Campaign development, white papers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events), offering development.
- Learning & Development – Training, certifications, and knowledge sharing.
Your Profile
We’re looking for individuals with experience delivering high‑impact engineering transformation initiatives, including complex engineering change projects, digital transformations, operating model redesigns, and improvements across engineering and design operations. Experience applying digital technologies to improve engineering operations and deliver operational excellence is highly valued, ideally within a consulting context.
Key areas of expertise:
- Previous consulting experience and proven ability to mobilise and manage projects to successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of engineering operations and product development across sectors such as automotive, aerospace & defence, industrial engineering, FMCG and life sciences.
- Experience with engineering and product lifecycle platforms (PLM, MBSE integration with ERP and MES for end‑to‑end data flow, digital continuity and operational efficiency).
- Appreciation of digital engineering concepts, including digital twin, AI applications in engineering and data‑driven design.
- Experience designing and implementing engineering operating models—including process optimisation, organisational structure, governance and digital technology integration.
- Experience with innovation frameworks and product lifecycle management processes.
- Proven experience delivering engineering and digital transformation programs, including change management and stakeholder engagement.
