YOUR ROLE
As part of Capgemini Invent’s Intelligent Industry team, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex business transformation initiatives across industries such as Energy & Utilities, Aerospace & Defense, Capital Projects, and Life Sciences. Leveraging advanced technologies—including AI, digital twins, digital continuity, software‑driven transformation, IoT, and edge computing—you will guide clients through their most critical strategic and operational shifts. As a Director in our business, you’ll lead business development, oversee program delivery, build high performing teams, advance thought leadership, and support global offer development.
- Lead Business Development: Drive proposals, RFPs, and bids; develop market propositions; and support events and go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Oversee Program Delivery: Design and deliver complex transformation programs from strategy to implementation.
- Build High‑Performing Teams: Develop and lead teams recognized for deep industry expertise and exceptional client outcomes.
- Advance Thought Leadership: Shape our market position through campaigns, think‑tanks, whitepapers, and external presentations.
- Support Global Offer Development: Contribute to global portfolio strategy and offer management.
- Enable Business Operations: Work with senior executives to shape and run the business effectively.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development: Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution: Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & development: Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
- A naturally curious mindset and the ability to explore and interpret a rapidly evolving intelligent‑industry landscape.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a STEM‑related field.
- Strong understanding of operations and product development, asset management across industries such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Industrial Engineering, FMCG, and Life Sciences.
- Proven experience—either in a major consulting firm or industry—across Intelligent Industry, Industry 4.0, AI, digital twins, digital continuity, software‑driven transformation, IoT/edge, data and information management, common data environments, PLM, manufacturing design, and digital construction.
- Skills in business strategy, digital transformation, target operating model development, product management, business case definition, change management, and agile delivery.
- Experience with solutions such as Aveva, Dassault, Siemens, Autodesk, Maximo, and SAP.
- Strong awareness of AI applications and emerging industry trends.
- Demonstrated success in business development with Tier‑1 organizations.
