Join our fast‑growing, collaborative DFRC team to transform risk and finance with AI‑powered models and cloud‑first data platforms. As a Data Product Owner you will shape the future of risk and finance, ensuring products align with client objectives and industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and maintain a clear data product vision aligned with client objectives.
- Translate business needs into actionable product requirements; create comprehensive product documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate discussions.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units.
- Ensure product development adheres to regulatory, data governance, and quality standards.
- Work with data engineers, analysts and developers to guarantee timely delivery of features.
- Define KPIs and success metrics; monitor performance post‑launch.
Profile & Qualifications
- Current consulting or Financial Services background (minimum 2–4 years depending on grade) with demonstrable stakeholder management.
- Experience delivering/managing a data product in an agile/SAFe framework.
- Hands‑on across all stages of end‑to‑end product development, including large‑scale deployments.
- Strong communication skills: simplify complex concepts and tell compelling stories for audiences at all seniority levels.
- Leadership experience managing technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (SC Eligible).
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Deep understanding of product management principles, user stories, and tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with SQL; Python coding is a plus.
- Knowledge of governance principles and ability to track KPIs/OKRs.
- Experience with data modelling and ETL processes.
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Strong storytelling & presentation skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience leveraging data to enhance user experience.
Senior Consultant Requirements (additional)
- Certified product owner/scrum master/SAFe practitioner.
- Proven data product strategy and architecture experience.
- People or work‑stream management experience.
- Involved in the commercial cycle: scope definition & budget agreement.
