Your Role
As a Cloud & AI Strategy Consultant at Capgemini Invent, you will help organisations move beyond cloud adoption – shaping how they modernise their applications, data and platforms to become AI‑ready, and connecting technology choices to business value.
- Cloud and AI modernisation strategy: Shaping strategies that go beyond migration – modernising applications, data and platforms so clients can scale AI, unlock innovation and reduce cost and risk.
- Multi‑cloud and workload strategy: Advising multi‑cloud and hybrid strategies, workload placement, portability and sovereignty, and how AWS, Azure and GCP estates fit together into one coherent enterprise picture.
- Executive storytelling: Bringing strategy, operating model, economics and architecture perspectives together into clear, compelling narratives that senior executives can act on.
Key expectations from this role include:
- As a Consultant: lead a stream of work and produce high‑quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
- As a Senior Consultant: design and lead projects / multiple streams, taking ownership for elements of the proposition.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development: Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution: Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development: Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile
You're passionate about helping organisations transform through technology and thrive in a fast‑paced environment and matrixed organisation. We're looking for individuals with experience in some of the following areas:
- Experience across two or more of: cloud strategy, application and cloud modernisation, cloud operating model, FinOps and cloud economics, or multi‑cloud/hybrid strategy – for large or mid‑sized organisations.
- A genuine AI angle: an informed point of view on how generative and agentic AI are reshaping cloud strategy, and hands‑on curiosity in applying AI tools to your own ways of working.
- Structured problem‑solving and first‑class communication skills – able to turn ambiguity into crisp storylines and executive‑ready material.
- Currently working in a major consulting firm, and/or in industry with a consulting background, with experience of proposition building and business development contribution.
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Certifications in relation to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform are desirable.
