YOUR ROLE
As an Agile Business Analyst Consultant, you will join the growing Digital Excellence community, sharing knowledge and expertise. We are passionate about user-centred design, critical thinking, problem solving, and designing digital services and products.
Working at Capgemini Invent offers opportunities to develop and grow, working with major clients in both public and private sectors. Our offices are located in London, Manchester, and Glasgow. We offer hybrid working; however, project requirements may necessitate travel to client locations.
As an Agile Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Helping clients understand and explore the application of new digital technologies and platforms.
- Advising, designing, and delivering products and services to transform businesses and deliver value.
- Playing a key role in end-to-end user-centred design projects, collaborating between design, product, development, and testing teams.
- Working within a multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum team, understanding user needs, translating requirements into user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Building stakeholder relationships and utilizing analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support team goals.
YOUR PROFILE
You will bring the following skills and experience:
- Experience in user-centred product or service development projects.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, supporting full delivery processes from research to testing.
- Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
- Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Skills in mediating between business requirements and user needs, as well as waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools like JIRA.
- Knowledge of technical business analysis, including microservices, APIs, legacy systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills, including conflict management and influence.
- Ability to support and lead Scrum team activities and ceremonies.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
Ideally, you would also have:
- Experience across sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, and Retail.
- Experience supporting internal team operations, including recruitment, client development, and mentoring.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, or User-Centred Design.
