Role Title: UX/UI Engineer

Role Description:
Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end from requirement - design - build - test - production - support
Break down work into stories/tasks; ship iteratively using flow-based delivery
Design UI solutions and implement them using semantic HTML, CSS, vanilla JS and Web Components
Improve shared UI libraries/patterns and documentation/examples to drive adoption
Champion accessibility and semantic HTML standards through hands-on delivery and mentoring
Pair with others; mentor juniors through coaching and constructive feedback
Identify technical debt and help prioritise improvements
## Essential skills
Strong HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals; responsive and cross-browser
Demonstrable UI/visual design judgement (not just implementation)
Strong practical accessibility implementation (keyboard/focus/labelling/headings; pragmatic ARIA; WCAG principles)
Experience contributing to reusable UI components/patterns + documentation
RESTful APIs + auth/error/edge cases handling
Comfortable mentoring and uplifting team capability
