Role Description:
Location – London (otherwise Flexible with Glasgow/Knutsford/Northampton)
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to build and enhance the foundational components. This is not a traditional mobile app development role; the focus is on platform capabilities, security, CI/CD enablement, engineering standards, and core iOS architecture that support multiple applications and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop reusable iOS platform components using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Build secure-by-design solutions aligned with company's security and compliance standards.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, and release management processes.
• Define and implement scalable architecture patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with platform, security, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve developer productivity.
• Support performance optimization, observability, reliability, and platform stability initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience in iOS development using Swift and Xcode.
• Deep understanding of iOS platform internals, frameworks, and application architecture.
• Proven experience implementing security controls and secure mobile development practices.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, unit/UI testing, and modern engineering methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments within large-scale enterprise organizations.
