Capgemini Engineering is looking for Senior Engineer who can objectively design, lead and deliver work packages that demonstrate how advanced digital engineering tools can dramatically accelerate product development while generating measurable business outcomes.
You will bring the ability to articulate and navigate the space between the needs of engineers and the capabilities of the toolset.
We need an innovative thinker who has deep expertise in digital engineering platforms, specifically Siemens NX and Teamcenter, and the ability to not just implement tools, but to strategically configure and deploy them in ways that fundamentally transform engineering workflows.
Your background in industries such as defence, where precision and innovation are paramount, will be a significant advantage.
Your profile
You will join a growing team of experts working on high-profile projects within the defence sector.
You will use creative problem-solving skills to formulate, develop and deliver design engineering solutions.
Technical skills
- Mechanical design engineering experience (or similar, e. g electrical)
- Advanced Siemens NX CAD software expertise
- Product lifecycle management (PLM) tools knowledge (Teamcenter)
- Siemens Capital experience would be desirable but not essential
- Digital engineering transformation techniques, Systems integration understanding
- Technical configuration of engineering tools, Performance optimisation of design processes
- Data management and digital thread implementation, Advanced engineering workflow design
- Knowledge and experience working across Engineering and Manufacturing including NX, TC, ERP, MES
