Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with strong finance and accounting knowledge, particularly within the investment banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting finance processes related to general ledger posting, accounting rules, and reconciliation across various financial instruments, including equities, bonds, futures, and swaps. This role requires proficiency in legacy financial accounting systems, with a strong preference for Oracle Fusion SaaS experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in data mapping, process migration, and process optimization, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of accounting and financial operations.

Finance Process Support

• Assist in the management and execution of finance processes such as general ledger posting, accounting rules, and end-of-day batch processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries for a wide range of financial instruments including equities, bonds, futures, and swaps.
• Support the preparation and execution of financial closures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Data Mapping & Systems Integration:

• Map data across various financial systems, ensuring proper data flow and integrity between legacy financial accounting systems and modern platforms like Oracle Fusion SaaS.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to facilitate data migration and system integration projects, ensuring accurate migration of historical financial data.
• Provide support for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data discrepancies between systems.

Your Profile

• Strong experience working in the investment banking sector, with knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, futures, and swaps.
• Proven experience with legacy financial accounting systems and a preference for familiarity with Oracle Fusion SaaS.
• Expertise in general ledger processes, accounting rules, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of end-of-day batch processes, closures, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of data mapping, data migration processes, and system integration projects.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, document business processes, and develop solutions to optimize financial operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and business units.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
