We're looking for an experienced IT/OT Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex technology solutions across operational technology, enterprise IT, industrial data, edge and cloud environments.
Acting as the lead technical authority, you'll shape solution strategy from discovery through to implementation, ensuring architectures are secure, resilient, scalable and fit for live industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT/OT solution architecture across OT, networking, integration, data, enterprise and cloud domains, ensuring a cohesive approach from concept to deployment.
- Translate complex business and operational requirements into clear technical solutions, leading architecture workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive decision-making.
- Define and govern industrial integration and data architectures, including OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, industrial edge technologies, event-driven architectures and cloud-connected solutions.
- Provide architecture assurance and technical leadership throughout delivery, setting standards for security, resilience and performance while mentoring architects and engineers and supporting future solution development.
Your profile
We're seeking a technically credible IT/OT architect with a strong background in industrial environments and a proven ability to design, govern and deliver complex solutions spanning operational technology and enterprise systems.
You'll combine deep technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Strong experience within industrial and OT environments, with a practical understanding of PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, historians, industrial communications and OT networking in live production or critical infrastructure settings.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end IT/OT solution architectures across OT, edge, enterprise, data and cloud environments, including OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, industrial edge and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience designing secure, resilient and scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS or equivalent platforms, with knowledge of high availability, recovery, identity, access management and secure-by-design principles.
- Excellent consulting and technical leadership skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor architects and engineers, and guide solutions from early discovery through successful implementation.
