Our Platform Engineers are hands-on technical leaders who help shape and deliver cloud-native transformation projects. They drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps or SRE practices, while guiding agile teams to create innovative solutions that leverage the full potential of our hyperscale partners and their ecosystems.

Your role
As a Platform Engineer, you will:
- Mentor and collaborate with teams to drive progress and innovation
- Translate product visions into reality, enhancing developer experiences and enabling organizations to fully embrace cloud-native technologies
- Partner with strategy, enterprise architecture, and application teams to lead cloud automation and Kubernetes initiatives
- Inspire and support fellow engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning

Your skills and experience
We\’re looking for individuals with:
- Practical experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure, operations, and exposure to Oracle Cloud infrastructure services.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to share insights on emerging industry trends
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior engineers
- Certification (or progress toward certification) with a major cloud service provider—we\’re happy to support your learning journey
- Skills of microservices platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
