Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Materials Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within aerospace engineering.

An engineering activity that includes disposition and turnaround of non-conformance submissions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and expert advice across Defence Aerospace programmes with a particular focus on design and supply chain production support.
  • Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data.
  • Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in-service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge and Experience
  • A qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience. We welcome applications from people with metallics and non-metallics backgrounds.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to build good working relationships across the business.
  • Knowledge of the gas turbine and its components is desirable.
  • Understanding of Engineering/Manufacturing drawings, terms, and processes.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and people skills.
  • Methodical and logical approach to tasks, comfortable with working to deadlines.
  • Will be required to obtain BPSS clearance.
