The consultant will work in a close relationship with customers to support major aerospace engineering technical departments. The candidate will be required to provide technical support across a wide range of technical topics to meet the dynamic technical pressures of a fast-paced industry, largely covering:
- Innovation, Product and Material Development
The consultant will lead projects managerially and technically, so will be able to show personal and group management abilities. Our projects span across multiple technical disciplinary roles, with a certain degree of overlap in each β mirroring the complex systems we help to deliver. Engineers will be challenged to meet the needs of multiple projects simultaneously β managing priorities, risks and blockages.
The role mainly entails support to development and qualification of mechanical components, materials and processes concerning fastening and assembly topics. From need capture to aircraft implementation, including the following:
- Project planning and execution
- MEng / MSc Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- MSc in Material Science
- Experience in Mechanical and/or Material engineering
- Project Management skills
- Technical analysis and validation of test campaigns and results with regard to requirements
- Report writing
- Aerospace primary structure assembly methods
