Your Role
As a Project Manager (Network Infrastructure), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of network infrastructure projects for our client in the commercial aviation domain. This role requires project management expertise and deep technical knowledge of physical network components.
In This Role You Will Be:
- Interacting with key Capgemini internal and client stakeholders to understand project requirements, desired schedule, and report about execution to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and reports to ensure timely delivery of network infrastructure projects.
- Providing technical expertise in physical network infrastructure including ducting, fiber optics, and structured cabling systems.
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine optimal placement of network components and infrastructure.
- Reviewing and validating installation work performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Analysing test reports and documentation, identifying issues, and recommending appropriate remediation actions.
Your Profile
- Project Management experience and solid understanding of physical network infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in external and internal ducting installation, including placement considerations, installation methods, and quality assurance.
- Strong technical knowledge of fiber optic cabling, including Multi‑Mode and Single Mode technologies, distance limitations, termination options, and interfaces.
- Comprehensive understanding of structured cabling systems (CAT 6 and above), including termination points, cabinet installations, wall/floor boxes, and distance limitations.
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting network test reports and implementing remediation strategies.
