An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Foundation Learning who will be responsible for delivering Entry Level 3 Progression into Vocational for Animal Care and Horticulture and Level 1 King's Trust at the College.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the teaching, administration and assessments of courses.
- Preparing educational materials.
- Generating reports for quality assurance.
- Contributing to curriculum development.
- Coordinating learning support activities.
- Representing student services in meetings.
- Overseeing examination duties and student discipline.
- Monitoring student progress.
- Collaborating with course teams.
- Engaging in administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be teaching and developing a new curriculum area which includes the Princess Trust Scheme. They will participate in the development, organisation and delivery of new educational and curricular initiatives undertaken by the College as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and driven to provide excellent teaching.
- Experience working with learners of all abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent ICT skills and ability to manage tasks and systems effectively.
This role is on a Fixed Term Contract in the first instance.
