An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Floristry to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Floristry courses. Our department of Floristry, event styling and creative arts offers a wide range of courses ranging from the Level 1 Foundation Diploma in Floristry through to the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry. It also runs a number of short workshops throughout the year to include floral tablescaping designs, winter wreath and eco‑floristry workshops.
We are now looking for an experienced floristry tutor to join the team to teach on a range of our floristry courses at Enfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floristry and for teaching and sharing their experience and knowledge. They will provide high-quality teaching on the College’s Floristry courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.
We welcome applications with experience in teaching and with relevant industry experience who are interested in passing on their skills to others. You will be joining an established and highly successful team that is actively involved in a wide range of employer-led commissions and student competitions. The team has a strong track record of creative excellence and industry engagement, and was recently awarded a Highly Commended accolade at RHS Chelsea in Bloom in collaboration with the Chelsea Heritage Quarter.
The actual salary for this role: £14,405 - £22,197 inclusive of London Weighting.
