Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional with a background in construction? Capella Professional are partnered with a leading Ripley-based contractor is on the lookout for a dedicatedHealth & Safety Managerto join their growing team.

This well-established business delivers a range of infrastructure, groundwork, and construction services across the East Midlands. With a strong reputation for reliability and quality, they support a wide portfolio of commercial and public sector projects.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Writing and maintaining construction-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Managing and updating vehicle MOTs and servicing logs
• Coordinating and booking training courses for staff
• Conducting audits and monitoring on-site operations
• Keeping Safe Contractor documentation up to date
• Maintaining and reviewing ISO:9001 compliance and standards
• Supporting a proactive and safety-first culture across the business

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in a health and safety role within a construction environment
• Strong understanding of RAMS, ISO:9001, and site safety auditing
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Construction industry knowledge is highly advantageous
