Capel Manor Gardens is growing as a visitor destination, and we are looking for a commercially focused, hands-on Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of weekend and seasonal trading. This is a pivotal front-line leadership role where you will be the senior accountable manager on site, responsible for driving performance, maintaining standards, and ensuring every busy day translates into strong commercial results.

You will lead the end-to-end operation across admissions, retail, catering, weddings, animal experiences and events, with a clear focus on maximising spend per visitor. This is not a passive role; you will be visible on the ground, actively managing trading, coaching teams to upsell, responding to footfall patterns, and making real-time decisions that improve performance across the day.

Alongside commercial delivery, you will take full responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the estate during weekend and weekday bank holiday trading. You will ensure high standards of presentation, compliance and customer experience, acting as the key point of accountability for both operational delivery and reputation. You will also play a central role in delivering events, functions and seasonal programmes, ensuring they are well executed and commercially optimised.

We are looking for someone with experience in a visitor attraction, hospitality, retail or events environment who understands how to run a busy operation and drive income. You will be confident operating as the senior decision-maker on site, comfortable working at pace, and able to lead teams with clarity and energy. A strong commercial instinct, coupled with a focus on customer experience, is essential.

This is a role where you can see the impact of what you do immediately. You will shape how the Gardens operates at peak times, influence how visitors experience the site, and play a direct role in driving income and growth.

You will be required to work weekend and bank holidays. This is a part-time role working 14.4 hours per week and is a fixed-term position until 31 October 2026. The actual salary is £17,341.60 plus £920 London Weighting.
