An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Pathways who will be responsible for delivering Entry level 3 Progression into Vocational course focusing on Animal Care and Level 1 and Level 2 King’s Trust qualifications at the College.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and developing curriculum, including the Princess Trust Scheme.
- Preparing educational materials and reports for quality assurance.
- Contributing to curriculum development.
- Coordinating learning support activities.
- Representing student services in meetings.
- Overseeing examination duties and student discipline.
- Monitoring student progress and collaborating with course teams.
- Engaging in relevant administrative tasks.
- Coordinating assessment of subjects related to Foundation Learning to appropriate examination body standards, including centre and work‑based learning.
Qualifications and skills:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in a similar role.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and driven to provide excellent teaching.
- Experience working with learners of all abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent ICT skills and effective task management.
- Good knowledge of SEND and behaviour management.
- Experience working with foundation level learners.
Location: Crystal Palace (require travel to Mottingham).
