Capel Manor College is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its pool of Casual Lecturers across its Campuses in Enfield, Mottingham, Crystal Palace, Regent's Park and Gunnersbury Park. Casual Lecturers provide ad hoc teaching to support operational needs across the College. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work that can fit around other commitments.
We are looking for Casual Lecturers who can teach across our range of courses. These include Horticulture, Professional Landscaping, Arboriculture and Forestry, Agriculture, Wildlife and Environmental Conservation, Floristry and Event Styling, Art and Design, Animal Management.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high quality teaching on the College’s courses and ensuring the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.
Applicants should possess a Degree, HND or other relevant qualification in an animal related discipline, science or other associated subject. We welcome applications from experienced Lecturers and from those with relevant industry experience who are interested in passing on their skills to others.
These are casual positions and the working hours will be variable.
The salary being offered is in the range of £20.01 per hour to £22.15 per hour for unqualified teachers and £23.37 per hour to £30.83 per hour for qualified teachers.
