An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Team Leader in Horticulture and Landscaping/Garden Design.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a curriculum area within the department and will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the area, and producing high standards of student achievement, progression and value added. The Team Leader will act as a Lead Internal Verifier and ensure all quality assurance procedures are fully complied with. They will actively ensure high quality provision in response to student and employer/industry needs and promote new ways of teaching.
We welcome applications from experienced curriculum managers or industry experts looking for a new challenge and outstanding classroom practitioners looking for their first move into a management position. The ideal candidate will have an HND, degree, or similar in a relevant discipline. Experience of working in the Horticulture industry is essential and industry-related competency tickets would be beneficial.
