Are you interested in working with young people and helping them to succeed? If so, the College is now looking to appoint a number of Learning Support Assistants to join its team.

Our Learning Support Assistants are responsible for providing support to students with a variety of needs on an individual or small group basis. Working with teaching staff, they assist in the delivery of vocational courses to support student inclusion and achievement. They are responsible for using strategies to support students with learning disabilities or difficulties or behavioural or emotional needs to achieve their learning goals, monitoring their progress, and providing regular and detailed feedback. Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant is not essential. Instead, we look for individuals who are passionate about developing a nurturing learning environment and for supporting and helping others. Full training will be provided.

Our Learning Support Assistant roles are term-time only and applicants will need to be able to work between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm.This is a part-time role, working 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The actual salary is £20,469.60- £21,227.70.
