Casual Examinations Invigilator

About The Role and Person

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint Casual Examinations Invigilators to join our Examinations team at our Crystal Palace and Mottingham campuses.

The key responsibility of the exam invigilators is to provide effective invigilation services for students undertaking examinations. They are responsible for setting up exam venues, assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them to their seats, supervising exams to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with relevant procedures and collecting and collating scripts at the end of examinations.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with young people in a professional and friendly manner. They will have excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with students and staff at all levels. No previous experience is required and training will be provided. Examinations can be held on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays, so some flexibility regarding availability is required. Examinations also take place across all of our campuses in London, so the ability to travel across London would be advantageous.
