We are working with a leading Insurance law firm who are looking to add a senior Professional Indemnity Solicitor (Partner & Head of Department level) to join their office in London. Our client is a global top tier practice and is wanting a talented lawyer to undertake professional indemnity work but also lead a successful team.
As a brief background, our client acts on professional indemnity matters predominantly to solicitors, IFAs and construction clients in the UK. Working as part of this high-profile team you will work and lead a team dealing with complex insurance litigation in all areas of financial lines and professional lines. Here you will work on a range of professional indemnity, D&O, FI, and coverage matters.
THE CANDIDATE
- 8+ years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience in defending claims against professionals and construction clients.
- You will have experience of handling insurance disputes relating to financial institutions, policy coverage matters and Directors' and Officers' liability.
- You should have experience of managing/supervising individuals or your own team/department.
