Operations Manager - Legal Services Leeds | Hybrid (mostly remote) Up to £75,000 I’m working with a leading law firm looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to take a senior leadership role within a large and established division. This is a broad operational position with responsibility for team performance, resource planning, service delivery and continuous improvement, working closely with senior leadership across the business. The role will include: Leading and developing a large operational team through an established management structure Taking ownership of performance, productivity and service levels Resource planning across recruitment, retention, capacity and workflow Using MI and data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement Working with senior stakeholders on wider operational and strategic projects Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and ways of working Supporting and developing managers and future leaders within the team Managing operational risk and maintaining high standards across the department Previous legal sector experience isn’t essential. They’re open to experienced Operations Managers from legal services, insurance, financial services, professional services or other regulated, high-volume environments. The key requirement is significant experience managing a sizeable operation, ideally through other managers or team leaders, with a strong track record around people leadership, performance management, resource planning and process improvement. You’ll also need to be comfortable working with data and KPIs, influencing senior stakeholders and balancing the day-to-day running of a department with longer-term operational improvements.
