Catastrophic Injury Solicitor - Associate / Senior Associate
Location: Manchester - Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office)
Experience: 4+ PQE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join one of the UK's leading Defendant Insurance teams, recognised nationally for its expertise in complex, high-value litigation.
The firm is looking to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate to join its established Manchester team, handling a caseload of substantial Serious and Catastrophic Injury claims, including multi-million-pound cases.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with leading insurer and corporate clients, take responsibility for complex litigation and play an important role within a highly regarded team offering genuine career progression.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of complex, high-value Defendant Serious and Catastrophic Injury claims.
- Handling Motor, Employers' Liability and Public Liability litigation.
- Advising insurer and corporate clients on liability, causation, quantum and litigation strategy.
- Drafting pleadings, reviewing expert evidence and preparing cases for trial or settlement.
- Working closely with counsel, medical experts and other professionals.
- Supervising and supporting junior solicitors on substantial and complex cases.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
About You
Applications are welcome from Solicitors with approximately 4+ years' PQE and experience handling Defendant Personal Injury litigation.
You will ideally have experience managing complex, high-value or Catastrophic Injury claims, with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to take responsibility for substantial cases.
Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing relationships with insurer clients would also be advantageous.
