NQ In-House Lawyer
Location: Leeds NQ In-House Lawyer required for new role with a highly-rated international company which is a leader in its field.
To be based in our client’s Leeds office.
Due to recent successes, our client is looking to appoint an ambitious In-House Lawyer with a key focus on planning and engineering, alongside commercial and contractual risk considerations.
The role will involve being responsible for assisting the management of legal risk within our client’s UK based team, through the provision of commercial advice relating to engineering consultancy appointments, across all disciplines.
You will be providing advice on various aspects of contract and construction law and liaising with internal and engineering disciplines along with other support functions.
You will also be expected to draft and review appointments (alongside reviewing the process itself), regularly update our client’s general team in terms of legal developments, provide ad-hoc training and support our client’s teams in the contract delivery phase.
Our client’s preference would be to appoint a solicitor who is either Newly Qualified or with up to 5PQE.
The successful candidate’s training and experience will have been gained at a national or regional firm recognised for its commercial expertise.
Our client is being flexible in its search and is open to considering those candidates with experience of Commercial law, Construction law, Planning law, Projects law or Environmental law.
